We welcome article queries and submissions
for Opinion, Process or Review. We recommend that you familiarise
yourself with our features sections and with the website

Opinion
A platform for debate about what we want from the web and
how we want it to happen. Send your reasoned arguments,
hobby-horses, and rants.
Process
A practical look at the internet as a creative medium for
thinking, collaborating, drawing, communicating, coding,
talking, performing, exhibiting, imagining, visualising
- and, of course, writing
Review
The web is a locus for a wide international community of
practice by writers and artists. Discuss significant
works, profile conferences, events and exhibitions, and
flag up current talking points.
Length and Payment
Articles should normally be between 800-1000 words. Payment
is normally £100 GBP per thousand words (payable
in the currency of your choice).
Queries and Proposals
We can only use a very small percentage of submissions
so you are advised to send in a query first. Please send
your proposal in plain text in the body of an email (not
as an attachment) with the subject line SUBMISSIONS to
Associate Editor Randy
Adams.
If you have more than one proposal, please use one email
for each proposal.
We don’t need your whole CV but we would like to
know a little about you - your experience and background
and specialist knowledge relating to your proposal idea.
You are welcome to direct us to websites containing samples
of your writing.
We hope to reply to you as soon as possible, but if you
do not hear back from us after three weeks please assume
that we will not be able to use your proposal.
