Carrie McMillan Writers' Attachments
Carrie McMillan is a writer and secondary school English teacher, busy convincing herself she has enough energy to do both things well. The teacher side of her tries to employ as much technology as possible into her lessons, and writes reviews of Educational Websites for the BBC Education WebGuide. She is also the co-author of The Internet for Learning, a guidebook for teachers, published in 1998. When she’s wearing her writer hat she ploughs through the final draft of her first novel and has more recently returned to writing poetry, a form she finds most suited to hypertext writing. She has recently collaborated on Estar de Gala, a hypertext fiction site, and has plans to extend that project. Carrie was born in Scotland, raised in Canada, and has been living in Exeter in the South-West of England for seven years. She also enjoys running slow miles down muddy canal paths.
