Stamford Writers’ Bureau. Writers’ weekend at Stamford Arts Centre will include a talk and master class from Stamford born Colin Dexter, creator of Inspector Morse. Lectures and workshops with other professional writers/tutors, including Paddy Kitchen and Lynn Parker and literary agent Lisa Darnell, as well as a literary walk around the town. Based on the theme ‘Using your own town as a creative source’, the weekend will be for beginners and experienced writers of novels, short stories, plays and poetry.
