June 2003 Archiving
[new media] outside of institutions: what private folks
can do to preserve our precious e-legacy.
While you can pick up - and read -
a book from a century ago, reading new media works from
a decade ago is hard to do, and getting harder. How can
we as writers preserve our heritage of electronic literature
and art?
During May and June, we are discussing these issues both
on bulletin boards and a live chat. Come join in to explore
tips and tricks and serious issues for keeping our work
viable in the future.
What are the issues and what are we
doing?
