How to search the archive

Basic Search
We recommend using the Basic Search as a first step. This will search keywords, category, description, and title.

  • Go to http://tracearchive.ntu.ac.uk/ and type in your search term(s)
  • We recommend you use no more than three search terms
  • Try to avoid common terms such as ‘eliterature’, ‘digital writing’, and ‘new media writing’, since these will return many results. Instead, you might search for a particular digital author or artist, a specific format for a work, such as Flash or Javascript, or a critical essay.

Advanced Search
Use Advanced Search to enter two search terms or phrases, linking them with OR or AND. For each search term you can use the pop-up menus to choose which of following fields to search:

  • Year
  • Author
  • Title
  • Description
  • Keywords
