Dirk Stratton is a poet completing his Ph.D. in English with an emphasis in contemporary poetry at the University of Cincinnati and has an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Washington in addition an M.A. in English from the University of Maine.

He recently published a monograph on the work of the Kansas poet Ronald Jonson, and has a RJ Web site in the works.
