Kirsten Krauth Volunteer Mentor Kirsten Krauth became interested in the online world when she worked for a company on the Gold Coast producing tourist info for the ill-fated Microsoft Network. Her degree in Media Studies from RMIT (majoring in cinema, media production and history) combined with a passion for writing and film led her to RealTime, an on-the-street and online venture in Sydney which covers contemporary arts including film, digital arts, hypermedia, performance, sound and music. Kirsten works as assistant editor at RealTime with a regular column (WriteSites) on hypermedia and maintains the RealTime website. She has just started an online writing project which she aims to complete by late 99, and is excited by the challenge of integrating creative writing, sound, digital video and design. trAce Volunteer Mentors are always at hand to answer your queries about technical matters. Post your questions at the trAce WebBoard, in the Help and Advice thread, and they will do their best to answer them. The pioneer trAce volunteers are: Peter Griffin, Steen Kristiansen, Kirsten Krauth, Kaz Madigan and Margaret Penfold.
