Margaret Penfold Volunteer Mentor / Writers' Attachments
The first writer to receive a Writer's Attachment award was Margaret Penfold of Leicestershire, a retired primary school teacher with a degree in Latin. She is now a Volunteer Mentor. She is currently writing a trio of novels set in the British Mandate of Palestine where she spent her childhood. She has recently published an on-line novel Death of a Palestine Policeman. Her interests include gardening, writing, and grandchildren.
