Virtual Research Fellow / Writer-in-Residence. Part-time for 6 months. Internet-based.

The trAce Online Writing Community wishes to appoint a Virtual Research Fellow / Writer-in-Residence to support trAce members around the world. This post operates entirely on the internet and the person appointed may be resident in any country. The postholder will be already experienced in working and collaborating on the World Wide Web and will be open to working the occasional unsocial hours caused by differences in timezones.The Virtual Research Fellow will use tutorials and group workshops to provide a point of online interaction for writers working on the internet, enabling them to obtain feedback on their writing and derive benefit from group work and also interaction with an experienced author. The postholder will be expected to facilitate a lively and interactive online literary community by:

The post is half-time for a period of six months, from approximately January - June 1999, and involves a commitment of 18.5 hours per week. It carries a salary of £14,148 pro rata, paid in English pounds.
